When is the next new episode of Chicago Fire?

It’s been quite an interesting few weeks for Chicago Fire fans. After eight weeks of back-to-back episodes, NBC has sent the series on an unexpected break that has kept fans quite puzzled.
In the first week of the break, fans were able to enjoy a rerun but last week there wasn’t even a rerun to enjoy with NBC instead opting to air holiday programming instead. With the holiday season in full swing now, even more holiday programming is ahead which has left One Chicago fans quite curious to know what exactly NBC has planned for the remaining weeks of 2021.
While we’re used to fall breaks, the latest episode didn’t exactly feel like a fall finale and there’s a good reason for that: it wasn’t the fall finale. That’s right, while the One Chicago shows have been on break these past few weeks they haven’t yet aired their final episodes of 2021 just yet.
When does Chicago Fire return?
So we have some good and bad news. The good news is there is one more new episode of Chicago Fire still ahead this year, but the bad news is fans have to wait a tad longer for the season 10 fall finale.

The next new episode of Chicago Fire season 10 is scheduled to air Wednesday, Dec. 8 at 9/8c on NBC. In the episode, fans can look forward to an over-the-top holiday episode that will see 51 getting into the holiday spirit which will include some Winterfest fun that will include seeing Gallo (Alberto Rosende), Violet (Hanako Greensmith) and Ritter (Daniel Kyri) debuting their microbrewery business!
