Chicago Fire season 10 episode 9 promo, synopsis and photos

After an extended break, Chicago Fire finally returns this Wednesday night with its first new episode in weeks and fans seem to be in for quite the eventful evening considering the episode will serve as the show’s fall finale!

As in most years, we’re anticipating the fall finale will end with a cliffhanger of some kind but there’s always the chance the writers could surprise us with a more mild ending. After all, it has been revealed that the fall finale will be a holiday episode so perhaps the writers will look to keep things lighthearted rather than leaving things on a major cliffhanger.

Unfortunately, NBC has not debuted a promo for the Chicago Fire fall finale and has instead only released a general One Chicago fall finale promo which seems to reuse clips from previously seen episodes rather than this week’s new episodes. Chicago Fire season 10 episode 9 synopsis

While the promo for the Chicago Fire season 10 fall finale doesn’t quite give us any clues as to what to expect from the episode with NBC reusing old footage for the One Chicago promo, the synopsis for “Winterfest,” offers up some major teases of what’s to come.

In the episode, Brett (Kara Killmer) finally gets the chance to present her paramedicine program to an oversight panel that will decide whether to fully fund the program after its trial run. Brett won’t be the only one getting ready for a potentially life-altering event it seems, as Gallo (Alberto Rosende), Ritter (Daniel Kyri) and Violet (HanakovGreensmith) prepare to debut their microbrewery at Chicago’s annual Winterfest!

Here’s how NBC officially describes Chicago Fire season 10, episode 9:

"Gallo, Violet and Ritter debut their microbrewery business at Winterfest. Brett prepares to present her paramedicine program to an oversight panel. Firehouse 51 gets in the holiday spirit."
