Can you buy Fire Goat Beer from Chicago Fire?

Bars have always played a big role in Chicago Fire. Countless episodes have wrapped with the 51 team sitting around a bar and sharing crucial life moments over drinks. The latest episode, titled “Winterfest”, was no exception.

Gallo (Alberto Rosende), Violet (Hanako Greensmith), and Ritter (Daniel Kyri) decided to join a local beer competition for the holidays, and Ritter stepped up with what he hoped could be a new brew. He dubs the brew “Fire Goat Beer”, and despite his reluctance, it proves to be a major hit with the people in attendance.

Given how delicious it sounds, some fans may be wondering if Fire Goat Beer is real. Can you purchase Fire Goat Beer at a bar or store near you?

Is Fire Goat Beer real?

Sadly, Fire Goat Beer is not a real type of beer. There are beer brands that have similar names, but Ritter’s specific brew has yet to be bottled and sold in stores. It’s fitting, really, given that the firefighter forgot to write down the recipe for Fire Goat Beer, and is forced to turn down dozens of local offers to produce it.

While Fire Goat Beer may not be on any real-life menus, Chicago Fire has made enough of an impression on local bars that it has brought about different beers. In 2018, Chicago Eater stated that the sports bar Lottie’s Pub would collaborate with Spiteful Brewing to create a beer based on the show. The beer would eventually be named Molly’s By Day IPA, in honor of the name of the show’s fictional bar.

There have been several partnerships between Chicago Fire and other breweries, but the Chicago Fire in question is actually Chicago Fire FC, the local soccer team.
