Chicago Med TV schedule for January 2022: What’s new and reruns?

After an extended holiday hiatus, Chicago Med finally returns to NBC’s lineup with what will be its first new episode of the new year and is looking to be quite an eventful month for NBC’s medical drama.
Following a quiet December, January will kick off with the midseason premiere on Jan. 5 which will kick off a stretch of back-to-back new episodes. In fact, it’s looking like we could be in store for a month filled with new episodes every Wednesday night before the show’s take a break timed to NBC’s Winter Olympics coverage in February.

Chicago PD TV schedule for January 2022
Wednesday, Jan. 5 – New Episode
On Wednesday, Jan. 5, NBC will be airing the tenth episode of season 7, “No Good Deed Goes Unpunished… In Chicago.” Picking up where the fall finale left off, the midseason premiere will find Goodwin clashing with the hospital’s new compliance officer. Elsewhere, Blake and Crockett will team up once again in hopes of saving the life of the parent of an autistic child.
Wednesday, Jan. 12 – New Episode
On Wednesday, Jan. 12, NBC will be airing the eleventh episode of season 7, “The Things We Through We Left Behind.” In the episode, Crockett and Blake find themselves at odds with another member of Med when it comes to treating a famous patient. Meanwhile, Stevie will team up with Charles to treat a patient who fell ill after turning to back-alley plastic surgery.
Wednesday, Jan. 19 – New Episode
On Wednesday, Jan. 19, NBC will be airing the twelfth episode of season 7, “What You Don’t Know Can’t Hurt You.” In the episode, Will and Stevie find themselves stuck in the middle of a marital feud, as Charles attempts to help Ethan reconcile with his estranged father.
Wednesday, Jan. 26 – To Be Announced
While NBC has not yet announced whether it will be airing a new episode of Chicago Med on Wednesday, Jan. 26, it’s looking highly likely that a new episode will be airing as January comes to a close before the One Chicago series take a few weeks off to make way for NBC’s Winter Olympics coverage.
