Chicago Med finally returned from its latest break last week and the series definitely delivered quite a memorable episode to kickstart the back half of the season. The episode featured many shocking moments that are likely to unfold across the upcoming episodes as part of ongoing storylines.

Of course, the most shocking moment of the episode came when Maggie (Marlyne Barrett) received unexpected news about her health when her doctors discovered a mass that first presented as a false pregnancy. Given Maggie’s medical history, it’s going to be interesting to see how the story unfolds but we’re optimistic about Maggie’s future!

The episode was also filled with several romantic developments for our favorite doctors. Dr. Charles (Oliver Platt) discovered his former therapist was referring him to a colleague due to the fact she had developed feelings for him. Will’s (Nick Gehlfuss) flirtation with Stevie (Kristen Hager) seemed to hit a snag when she returned to town and revealed she was going to give her marriage another try.

And finally, the love triangle between Crockett (Dominic Rains), Pamela (Sarah Rafferty) and Avery (Johanna Braddy) came to an explosive head when Avery walked in on Crockett and her mother getting more than a little cozy.

Wondering what’s ahead in this week’s new episode? Below we share the promo, synopsis, and photos for season 7, episode 14, “All the Things That Could Have Been.”
