Seager is back for another investigation on Chicago Fire season 10, episode 15. Here’s everything to expect on the all-new episode.

Chicago Fire really wants to push a love triangle that just isn’t a love triangle, doesn’t it? Seager (Andy Allo) is back, and we’re sure it’s going to lead to some questions about whether she and Severide (Taylor Kinney) will end up getting together. We know Severide wouldn’t cheat on Kidd (Miranda Rae Mayo), but that doesn’t mean Kidd won’t question a few things.

The new episode is going to put Seager and Severide in danger. They’re out investigating a fire—if Severide doesn’t choose to go the arson investigation route if he’s no longer able to work the field, it’s just bad writing at this point—but this is more than just looking at whether it’s arson or not. Someone is targeting the investigators.

Meanwhile, Kidd needs to find her own replacement. Pelham (Brett Dalton) chose to take on the lieutenant role at Firehouse 72 so Kidd could stay at Firehouse 51. She’s moved up to lieutenant, so she needs to find someone to replace that empty spot—and who is going to drive the truck?

Chicago Fire 10×15 promo

The promo focuses on the Seagar/Severide storyline. There’s nothing to hint that Severide will cheat on Kidd at this point. The focus is on someone targeting the investigators while they’re doing their job. Who is responsible for this, and more importantly, why?

Chicago Fire 10×15 synopsis

As for the synopsis, we get a few of the storylines mentioned. Of course, the Seager/Severide storyline is there, and this is where Kidd’s storyline is also mentioned. Someone is literally luring people to these investigations. This is all intentional.

There’s going to be a new recruit joining Truck 81 to see if they’re a good fit. Is this going to lead to a new permanent member of the team? We’ve seen the show struggle with bringing new members onto the team. Look at how Pelham looked like he was going to cause trouble only to end up being a fan favorite. Yet, we can get some great new additions like Gallo and Ritter. More like them will be awesome.

We don’t get a hint of the humorous storyline of the week. There’s always one, and it usually either involves Herrmann and Mouch or Capp and Tony. Which duo will it be this week?

"Following an injury in the aftermath of an industrial fire, Severide and Seager work together to investigate an anonymous tip. Kidd searches for the right person to fill the open spot on Truck 81. A possible new recruit to 51 gets tested at a call."
