Chicago PD spoilers: What to expect in Chicago PD season 9 episode 15 (Preview)

We knew going into episode 14 of Chicago PD, we’d be in for quite the emotional rollercoaster ride as Burgess (Marina Squerciati) and Ruzek (Patrick John Flueger) went to battle to retain custody of Makayla.
After Makayla’s uncle entered the picture and made a play for custody of his niece, Burgess and Ruzek headed to court to fight for their right to remain in her life. While the case didn’t get off to the best of starts for Burgess, at the end of the day the court decided to give her custody in rejecting Makayla’s uncle’s petition for custody.
Just when we thought it was time to celebrate and breathe a sigh of relief, Burgess and Ruzek came home to a terrifying scene. Makayla’s sitter had been brutally attacked and Makayla was nowhere to be found!
Following the shocking conclusion to last week’s episode, it’s certain we’re in store for another heart-pounding episode as Burgess, Ruzek and the entire team race to bring Makayla home safely. Just what awaits us this Wednesday night? Below we share the promo, synopsis, and photos for episode 15, “Gone.”

As you might expect given how episode 14 came to a close, the promo for Chicago PD season 9, episode 15 puts a large focus on the fallout of last week’s shocking conclusion.
In the promo, a passionate speech from Voight encouraging Burgess and company not to give up hope plays over a series of scenes from the episode including a panicked Burgess still reeling in her apartment as the team processes the crime scene.

There isn’t too much information given to us this week teasing what’s to come in Chicago PD season 9 episode 15, but it’s clear that the primary focus of the episode is going to be on the team’s efforts to find Makayla.
