Is Violet going to get back together with Gallo on Chicago Fire?
Violet (Hanako Greensmith) has had lots of relationship drama in season 10. What initially started off as frustration that Gallo (Alberto Rosende) was dating someone else turned into joy when she started seeing Chief Hawkins (Jimmy Nicholas).
That being said, Violet and Gallo have always had a close bond, and some fans are wondering if the duo are going to eventually end up together. Are their current/recent relationships just a way to delay the inevitable?
Here’s what we know about Violet and Gallo’s current dynamic.
Who is Violet dating on Chicago Fire?
Things have been tense between the longtime friends. The jealously that once fueled Violet has now been reversed, and Gallo is the one who’s feeling jilted by Violet’s secret relationship with the chief. They even had an argument about it in the firehouse, though Gallo later apologized.
While the latest episode hinted at them patching up their relationship, it doesn’t look like they are going to be getting romantic anytime soon. Violet and Hawkins are in the honeymoon phase of the relationship, even if they’re keeping it a secret from the rest of the 51.
Hanako Greensmith discussed Violet’s romantic journey during a recent interview with TV Insider. She felt that the character has changed a great deal in the last season, and is making decisions that are more positive for her in the long run.

"“What I think is so funny is Gallo is so entirely different to Hawkins, and maybe that’s what right now Violet is attracted to”, she explained. “I think she needs something super different from what Gallo can offer, someone who is emotionally available and who is unafraid to show that they have attraction and feelings for her, and therefore it’s less of a game and more of a journey.”"
The actress went on to say that Violet’s decisions have allowed her to become more of a strong presence in the firehouse. Her close friendship with Brett (Kara Killmer), coupled with her brand new romance, has made it possible for her to “settle more into the 51 family.”
All signs point to Violet and Gallo being close friends, but the arc of the former’s character seems to suggest that she’s making strides as a person by engaging in relationships with other people. For this reason, we find it unlikely that the duo will be a couple again.
