Chicago Fire spoilers: What to expect on Chicago Fire season 10, episode 16 (Preview)

Hawkins and Violet are struggling to keep their relationship private on Chicago Fire season 10, episode 16. Here’s what to expect in the episode.

We’re seeing a lot of jealousy from Gallo (Alberto Rosende) at the moment. He still has feelings for Violet (Hanako Greensmith), and they are coming through now that he can’t be with her. He’s missed his shot, and he’s angry at the person who caused that.

Who is that person? It’s all about Chief Hawkins (Jimmy Nicholas). While Hawkins and Violet’s relationship isn’t banned, it is frowned upon. However, they’re trying to keep their relationship under the radar, and it looks like that will be a problem during the new episode.

Then there’s Cruz. He has a heartfelt story when it comes to an apartment fire. He forms a bond with a young immigrant boy. We have always seen that Cruz has had a heart, and this is going to come through in the new episode.

Take a look at the promo for the episode. It’s clear that there is a lot of focus on Violet and Hawkins.

During the previous episode, Brett (Kara Killmer) noted that she needed to see Casey (Jesse Spencer). She’s struggling with her place in the firehouse right now with Casey in Portland, and she needs to see him. This is clearly written in for Killmer’s pregnancy, so we should see Brett return at some point.

However, it looks like Hawkins may step in to help out. Why not just get a floater? This is why these sorts of relationships are frowned upon.

The synopsis focuses on a call for the episode. It’s all about Cruz (Joe Minoso), who forms the bond with the immigrant. There is a strong chance that we’ll see this immigrant scared that he may be deported because of this fire—is he undocumented?

Meanwhile, Squad is planning a prank. There’s a new member of the family, and there’s only one way that the firehouse can welcome that person in. Just how is it going to turn out? Is Boden (Eamonn Walker) going to find it funny or tell someone off?
