Chicago Med star Kristen Hager announces pregnancy (see the stunning announcement)

It seems congratulations are in order for Chicago Med star Kristen Hager and her husband, actor Matt Jones!

Hager and Jones recently took to their respective Instagram accounts to share some exciting personal news with their followers in a pair of stunning pregnancy announcements! In the sweet and simple announcement, Hager proudly shows off her growing baby bump in a black and white style photograph.

In having a bit of fun with his post, Jones confirmed Hager is five months along with a humorous joke on-brand for the actor best known for his many comedic roles.

Is Kristen Hager leaving Chicago Med?

News of Hager’s pregnancy is likely to create speculation among fans regarding her character’s future with the show. Although it is possible we could see Stevie leave town to accommodate Hager’s pregnancy, there have been no reports from NBC or Hager announcing her departure from Chicago Med.

What seems most likely is that the writers might find creative ways to hide Hager’s real-life pregnancy within the show. This is a common trend many shows have utilized over the years when it’s decided not to write the pregnancy into the show.

If this is indeed the route the show takes, we might begin to notice Hager’s character appearing strategically behind items and/or find the show shooting scenes featuring her character from unique angles to help hide her baby bump.
