Was there a new Chicago Fire this week? (March 23, 2022)

If you’re checking your DVR or favorite streaming service and questioning whether there was a new episode of Chicago Fire season 10 this week, chances are you’re not alone.

While the One Chicago schedule this season hasn’t been quite as unpredictable as last year’s schedule, that doesn’t mean this season’s schedule hasn’t been difficult to keep up with. We’ve had a series of random breaks in the season which has seen the season’s episodes airing at a more unique pace.

After the series returned from their Olympic break, the hope seemed to be for the series to take fewer breaks yet here we are again in the midst of yet another unexplained hiatus.

There was no new episode of Chicago Fire, Chicago PD and Chicago Med on Wednesday, March 23 as NBC instead aired encores of the three series.

When is the next episode of Chicago Fire?

After the March 16 episode of Chicago Fire, the series entered what is going to be a two-week break in its schedule. Pending any unexpected changes, season 10 should resume on Wednesday, April 6, 2022, with a fresh batch of new episodes for fans to enjoy.

Given we’re quickly closing in on the final weeks of the 2021-22 season, we should be seeing fewer breaks upon the One Chicago franchise’s return that first week of April.
