Boden finds himself with his life flashing before his eyes in Chicago Fire season 10, episode 18. Take a look inside everything we know about the episode.
More often than not, we see storylines focused on some of the Firehouse 51 team members. The focus on Boden (Eamonn Walker) has mostly been about his career. This new episode is focused on something that happens without the rest of Firehouse 51 around.
It looks like he’s still on duty. After all, he’s dressed in his uniform, and he’d only do that if he was heading to a shift, coming off a shift, or it takes place during a shift. However, the rest of his firehouse is elsewhere, stuck on the outside as trouble happens.
The synopsis doesn’t go into many details about other storylines. This certainly suggests that the episode is going to focus on one storyline only, which isn’t usual.

Take a look inside the promo for the episode. It makes it very clear that Boden will find himself in a hostage situation with the other members of Firehouse 51 trapped on the outside. We get a look at Mouch (Christian Stolte) outside, trying to look past the cops in front of him to get a better view of the situation.
Boden is willing to put his life on the line to help the individuals in the store. Will he be able to talk the guy with the gun down?

As mentioned, the synopsis doesn’t give us many details about the episode. It focuses on Firehose 51 needing to band together to help one of their own. We know that “one of their own” is Boden, who is trapped in the hostage situation inside the shop.

Take a look at the photos revealed for the episode. A lot of them focus on the men and women outside waiting to get Boden out. There is an image of Severide (Taylor Kinney) on top of what is likely the building to the store. Is he going to look for a way in to deal with the situation on the inside? It’s certainly possible judging by a photo of him being lowered down through a skylight in another photo.
