Moon Knight had a major Chicago Fire connection (and yet no one’s talking about it)

When it comes to successful franchises, there’s no denying the Marvel Cinematic Universe and One Chicago franchise are among the most successful in all of TV and movies.
Sure, comparing the two franchises might seem like comparing apples to oranges; however, both franchises have been going strong for years and have managed to create shared universes filled with amazing characters. While one franchise spotlights heroes of the superhuman kind, the other spotlights heroes of the real world by celebrating first responders.
There’s also crossover among audiences, who enjoy both franchises and those Chicago Fire fans who tuned into Marvel’s Moon Knight might have found themselves doing a double-take when watching the fifth episode in the series due in large part to a familiar face who pops up in the episode!
Chicago Fire star has a major role in Moon Knight
In the fifth episode of Moon Knight season 1, fans get the chance to learn about the origin story of the film’s title characters Marc Spector and Steven Grant. To do so, we’re treated to flashbacks to Steven and Marc’s childhood which help explain how they came to be and what triggered their Dissociative Identity Disorder.
It was a powerful episode that featured an incredible young actor who likely looked familiar to Chicago Fire fans for good reason!

Playing young Marc Spector in the Marvel original drama was actor Carlos Sanchez, who recently made his debut in the One Chicago franchise as Javi, the young immigrant boy taken in by Chloe and Cruz!

Given how amazing Sanchez has been in his role on Chicago FIre thus far, it’s not surprising the young actor also managed to catch the attention of the Marvel brass! Sanchez gave an incredible and emotionally-charged performance in the Marvel series, and we imagine this young’s star is only starting to rise.
