As Mouch and Ritter solve a murder mystery, Severide and Stella struggle with taking the next step in Chicago Fire season 10, episode 21. What can we expect in the new episode?

During the previous episodes, tensions started between Severide (Taylor Kinney) and Stella (Miranda Rae Mayo). The two didn’t see eye-to-eye on Gallo’s (Alberto Rosende) wish to try out for Squad. In the end, it was clear the problems were deeper than that.

Severide made it clear that Stella always makes sure she gets her own way. Now as they get ready to sign the wedding contract and walk down the aisle, we’re left wondering if that is even going to happen. Of course, we’ve seen the leaked photos from filming, but how do they get through this latest issue?

Meanwhile, Gallo wants to get to the bottom of what’s going on with Violet (Hanako Greensmith). He heads out to see Hawkins (Jimmy Nicholas), who we know is in a tricky situation. Emma (Caitlin Carver) has blackmailed him for a permanent spot at Firehouse 51. What is Hawkins going to do?

While all that goes on, we’ll get a bit of fun between Mouch (Christian Stolte) and Ritter (Daniel Kyri). They’re going to work together to solve a murder mystery.

Let’s take a look inside the episode to see what we can expect. Remember this is the penultimate episode of Chicago Fire season 10.

Chicago Fire 10×21 promo

The promo gives us a look at the Stellaride storyline for the episode. It’s clear that things aren’t good between these two, and they’ve never been the best at communicating with each other. It’s time for them to both learn how to do this!

Herrmann wants to think that it’s wedding jitters. They’re normal. Maybe it’s something more than that, though.

Chicago Fire 10×21 synopsis

The synopsis goes into the other two storylines of the episode. We get the focus on Mouch and Ritter’s murder mystery. What exactly is that going to entail? Do they find a dead body at a scene and decide to play detective, or is this going to be something more light-heartened and linked to some sort of animal they find?

The other focus is on Gallo turning to Hawkins to get to the bottom of what’s going on with Violet. He and Ritter believe her when it comes to Emma being shifty. Can Gallo make it clear that Hawkins can trust him with what Emma has threatened?

"Mouch and Ritter work together to solve a murder mystery. Severide and Cruz tackle a food truck fire. Gallo goes to see Hawkins about Violet."
