Chicago PD season 9 finale spoilers: You and Me

After what has been another amazing season, Chicago PD season 9 comes to a close this Wednesday night in what is sure to be an action-packed and intense finale!

Last week, the team began to close in on drug kingpin Javier Escano which put Anna in a dangerous position — one she was not happy to find herself in following Voight’s decision to lie to her. However, that wasn’t even the biggest moment of the episode!

As the episode came to a close, the Intelligence Unit began closing in on Escano’s operation and engaged in a firefight with his men. While they expected to come under fire while closing in, they weren’t expecting an explosive device to be rigged to the vehicle they were approaching.

Following the explosion, we quickly were assured that Halstead and Ruzek were both okay. The same could not be said for Upton, who appeared to lie lifeless on the ground following the explosion. The episode then cut to black leaving fans to question Upton’s fate.

This Wednesday, the two-part finale comes to a close in what should be a memorable episode that should answer the burning question on our minds: Did Upton die?

NBC is keeping its cards close to its chest this week and hasn’t revealed too much about the Chicago PD season 9 finale. However, it seems we’re going to pick up right where the previous episode left off after the explosion rocked the team and pushes them to their breaking point!
