Since leaving Chicago PD in 2017, Sophia Bush has been keeping quite busy. In fact, that might be an understatement.
She’s appeared in a number of films and television projects, most recently appearing as the lead in CBS’s medical drama Good Sam. The role marked her first series regular role in a broadcast drama since she departed PD, but despite the positive buzz around the series and Bush’s incredible performance ratings ultimately led to the series’ untimely demise.
Bush’s future on the small screen remains uncertain after the cancellation of Good Sam, but she’s already begun filming her newest project!

The new film will address the modern-day opioid crisis in America by looking to ask how it came to be as told from three different points of view of the CEO of a pharmaceutical company, a doctor, and a patient. It’s unclear who Bush will be playing in the character, but IMDb credits her as playing a character named Allison.
Bush is one of many notable stars attached to the film which also includes Josh Peck, Jamie Chung, Griffin Dunne, Michaela Conlin and Ryan Eggold.
