Is Chicago Fire season 11 coming in 2022?

Chicago Fire is now on its summer break. We’re waiting for the Chicago Fire season 11 premiere date to be confirmed. Will it be in 2022?

One Chicago Wednesdays are not going to be the same for a while. All three shows are on their summer break, and that means reruns and NBC’s summer programming. The good news is all three are coming back.

Chicago Fire season 11 is one of the renewals that happened. It wasn’t confirmed this year, but that’s because the show got a three-season renewal back in February 2020. That guaranteed us new episodes until 2023.

Now we just need to know when we’ll get to see the new episodes. Will we get Chicago Fire season 11 in 2022, or will we need to wait until 2023?

Chicago Fire season 11 will premiere in fall 2022

NBC has announced its fall 2022 schedule, and there is some great news for Firehouse 51 fans. Chicago Fire season 11 was on the list. The series will hold its Wednesday timeslot at 9 p.m. ET/PT. In fact, the entire One Chicago Wednesday is remaining the same.

This does mean the series will return in 2022. We don’t have an exact premiere date, but the broadcast networks are mostly predictable when it comes to premiere dates outside of a pandemic year.

We’re looking at the end of September for this series to return. If we had to predict an exact date, we’d say Wednesday, Sept. 28. The last week of September is pretty standard for the Big 4 networks. NBC is likely to confirm the premiere dates sometime in June or July, and we’ll be sure to let you know as soon as that confirmation is in.

For now, we just know that Chicago Fire season 11 is definitely coming in 2022. Episodes will stream on Peacock the day after instead of Hulu.
