Is Chicago Med season 8 coming in 2022?

Chicago Med season 7 has come to a close for the season, but the good news is another season is in the works as Chicago Med season 8 is very much happening!

Unlike many series which had to play the waiting game this season, Chicago Med and its One Chicago sister series were among a lucky few to have come into the 2021-22 season with renewals already in their pocket.

In February 2020, NBC renewed all three of its One Chicago dramas for three seasons with Med being renewed through season 8 at the time. Because of this, we know another season is coming but the big question on the minds of fans is when exactly that season will be arriving.

Chicago Med season 8 is coming Fall 2022

Here’s the good news, Chicago Med season 8 is coming to NBC this year. The bad news is that you’re going to have to get through the summer hiatus before the new season arrives on NBC.

Med will once again return to NBC’s lineup this fall as part of its 2022-23 fall line-up where it will air once again on Wednesday nights alongside Chicago Fire and Chicago PD.

While we’ll have to wait until closer to the fall to know when exactly the new season will arrive, Med is likely to arrive sometime in September 2022. We also know the series will remain in the opening timeslot on the night where it will once again kick off One Chicago Wednesdays!
