Is Chicago PD season 9 coming to Netflix?
Chicago PD delivered the goods in season 9. There were close calls and devastating deaths, as well as ramifications that we expect to see throughout the rest of the show. It’s just wrapped, which means fans will have to wait several months before they get new episodes.
Fortunately, that leaves plenty of time to binge old episodes and catch up on all the PD cases you might’ve missed over the course of the last decade. The question that arises during the off-season is, of course, where the show is streaming. Is it on Netflix? Is it going to be on Netflix soon?
Here’s what you need to know about the show’s current availability.
Chicago PD season 9 is not available on Netflix
The unfortunate news is that Chicago PD season 9 is not going to be available on Netflix. While there’s a possibility the show could eventually wind up on the platform in the future, the current state of streaming rights and the ownership of the shows means it won’t be anytime soon.
Peacock, the streaming service for all things NBC, has the streaming rights to Chicago PD, which means current and future seasons will go straight to them. Episodes are updated weekly on the platform, and new seasons are added fairly quickly after they conclude on the air.

If you want to watch earlier seasons of Chicago PD, you can check them out on Hulu. This platform has been a hub for all of the One Chicago titles for several years but a recent shift means that new episodes will no longer be made available. They will only be available to watch on Peacock and the CBS network.
If something changes with regards to Peacock, there is a chance that NBC may turn to Netflix. That’s just not the case right now, so keep your eyes peeled for the other streaming options we mentioned.
