Is Chicago Med season 7 coming to Netflix?

Chicago Med is consistently entertaining that it can sometimes feel like seasons go by in a flash. A lot happened during season 7, yet the final episode seemed as though it came much too early, and now we have around until the show returns.

Fortunately, we have a massive catalogue of episodes to revisit, whether it be season 7 highlights or standouts from previous years. Netflix users may have noticed that older seasons are available to stream, but those waiting for an update may be disappointed…

Here’s what you need to know about the current state of Chicago Med on Netflix.

Is Chicago Med on Hulu?

The latest season of Chicago Med will NOT be available on Netflix. While you can watch the first five seasons without any red tape, the licensing deal struck by Netflix and NBC means that the streaming platform will not have access to episodes from season 6 on.

This is nothing new for Netflix. While the platform may still be the standard for streaming, the influx of network-specific platforms means that it has been losing more and more of its back catalogue. Peacock is the only streaming option for fans who want to see new episodes as soon as they drop.

Med episodes are updated weekly on Peacock, meaning that fans can watch all of season 7 right now. The exclusivity of the platform makes sense, given that its NBC-run, but it also means that it keeps other platforms from gaining access to their massive One Chicago library.

Those who have Hulu will run into the same issue that Netflix posed. The platform provides access to the first five seasons of Chicago Med, but it will not be able to update past season 6. The only way to stay up to date is to start a Peacock subscription or to catch episodes of Chicago Med as they get released on NBC.
