Chicago PD dished out one of its best seasons yet in 2022. The ninth season featured highlights for each of the main characters, and the finale ran through a series of shocking twists and deaths. The downside to a great finale, of course, is that fans now have to wait several months before a new season of PD hits the airwaves.

One way to make time fly is to revisit past seasons on streaming, either to binge episodes you hadn’t seen or to refresh yourself on recent storylines so that you’re up to speed come the new season premiere.

Here’s what you need to know if you plan on rewatching the latest season of Chicago PD.

Is Chicago PD season 9 on Netflix?

Unfortunately, the show is not available on Netflix. The streaming platform used to be home to Chicago Fire and Med, but licensing agreements for both shows have ended, and they are being taken off. Chicago Fire has already been removed, and Med will be taken off on July 22, 2022.

The ninth season of PD is available, however, on Hulu. The platform has struck an interesting deal with NBC, in that only select seasons of the show are on there, but fans looking specifically for the latest episodes are in luck. You can check out all 22, and depending on what subscription you have, you can watch them commercial free.

You can also watch Chicago PD season 9 on Peacock. Peacock is the official hub for all NBC titles, and it features the entire One Chicago catalogue. If that weren’t enough, the platform updates on a weekly basis, so once PD returns, you will be able to watch season 10 episodes within days of their release.

Peacock is the only platform that has all nine seasons of Chicago PD, so if you are wanting to back further than season 9, then this is the option for you. To further sweeten the pot, PD is one of the shows that Peacock offers for free, so you don’t even need to spend money to catch up on all of the drama that went down. All you have to do is sign up and start watching.
