Chicago Fire, Med and PD set to begin filming new seasons this week

Summer might still be underway and the One Chicago shows might be in the middle of their summer hiatus; however, the casts of Chicago Fire, Chicago PD and Chicago Med are about to return to the Windy City to begin work on the new seasons of NBC’s hit dramas!
While the One Chicago series might not return until later this year, the cameras are about to finally start rolling on the upcoming eleventh season of Chicago Fire, eighth season of Chicago Med and tenth season of Chicago PD!
According to Screen Magazine, filming on the new seasons of the One Chicago dramas is set to begin on Tuesday, July 19, 2022. This is on pace for most seasons, with production beginning roughly two months before episodes begin airing which gives the crew enough time to film and for post-production to take place on the episodes.
It also means we’re one step closer to new episodes finally making their way to NBC for our enjoyment!
When do Chicago Fire and the One Chicago shows return?
This year, NBC is set to kick off its fall primetime schedule the week of Sept. 19, 2022, which means that the One Chicago series will kick off their new seasons on Wednesday, Sept. 21.

NBC will once again be sticking with the same schedule with Chicago Med opening the night at 8/7c, followed by Chicago Fire at 9/8c and ending with Chicago PD at 10/9c.
