What’s next for Emma Jacobs in Chicago Fire season 11?

Did anyone else feel like the story with Emma Jacobs isn’t finished yet? What will happen to the character in Chicago Fire season 11?

Emma Jacobs turned up in Chicago Fire season 10 when Brett took some time off to be with Casey. We knew from the start that she was only meant to be there temporarily, but Emma had other plans. She wants to make Firehouse 51 her permanent home. She can’t force Brett out, but she could make sure Violet was forced out.

Throughout the second half of the season, Emma made it her mission to get Violet in trouble. She also blackmailed Chief Hawkins, making it clear that she would either report Violet for a mistake in the medical bags, or she would report Hawkins and Violet for their relationship.

While Hawkins attempted to protect Violet, it was Emma’s own actions in the end that saw her kicked out of Firehouse 51. She couldn’t stand the literal heat in the house on fire while Violet delivered a baby.

What will happen to Emma Jacobs in Chicago Fire season 11?

Hawkins told Emma to pack up her things after the shift. She was done, but is that really going to be the case? This seemed far too simple for everything that had been going on throughout the 10th season.

There is a chance that Emma will return to cause trouble in Chicago Fire season 11. She still has the ammo of the medical bag. We all know it was Emma who tampered with it, but Violet can’t prove that.

With Brett back, Violet will have a bit of extra support. She could be safe, especially with Hawkins already telling his boss that he and Violet are in a relationship. If Emma tried to use it against her for Hawkins kicking her off Firehouse 51, at least the rest of the firehouse was there to see how Emma reacted in the fire.

Really, Emma doesn’t have a leg to stand on for her career, but I just don’t see this being over right now. Emma is the type of woman to retaliate, and I’m curious how she’s going to do it in Chicago Fire season 11. Violet may want to watch her back.
