Sasha Roiz and Lilah Richcreek join Chicago Med cast
Chicago Med is shaking things up. The medical drama has seen some major cast turnover in the last year, with the departure of longtime characters and the return of other characters from earlier seasons.
Now, Med is adding two brand new faces to the mix: Sasha Roiz and Lilah Richcreek. Deadline has confirmed that both actors will be joining the cast during the upcoming premiere, and will play big roles within the storyline of the overall season.

Roiz will play Jack Egan, a multimillionaire and “renaissance man.” It’s unclear how Egan will factor into the weekly dramas playing out at Gaffney (he could be a new patron or perhaps a patient who reappears), but it’ll be intriguing to see someone in such a high tax bracket interact with the blue collar workers we’ve come to know and love. There’s sure to be some clashes.
Roiz is best known for playing Sam Adama on the sci-fi series Capricorn and Captain Sean Renard in the fantasy show Grimm. More recently, he voiced the character of Mr. Kielowski in the Disney blockbuster Turning Red.

Richcreek has been cast to play Nellie Cuevas, a psych fellow who will work alongside Dr. Charles (Oliver Platt) at Gaffney. The idea of a new sparring partner for Charles is very exciting, given how infrequently his calm attitude clashes with younger, more aggressive treatment ideas. We’re sure the chemistry between the two actors will be electric.
Richcreek, like Roiz, has an impressive TV resume. She had crucial roles on FX’s Dave, ABC’s The Wonder Years reboot, and Netflix’s long-running Grace & Frankie.
Chicago Med has done a great job of keeping things consistent, despite the revolving door of cast members, and we look forward to seeing how these newcomers slot into the always entertaining world of the show.
