With September’s arrival, NBC has shifted into overdrive over the course of the last week by quickly ramping up its promotions for the upcoming seasons of Chicago Fire, Chicago Med and Chicago PD.

Not only has NBC offered up new key art and the first promo for the new seasons of its One Chicago dramas across the last week, but the network also provided fans with their first look at the new season via a wave of new images from the upcoming season premieres.

The new images provided fans with their first looks at the upcoming seasons and offer up some major teases including our first look at the beginning of the head for Halstead, hints that one member of Med is about to find themselves in a precarious situation and more!

Our first photos from the premieres also happen to offer up our first official look at Chicago Fire‘s newest addition, while also providing us with new details about their character.

Jake Lockett suits up as Sam Carver in new Chicago Fire image

As previously reported, Jake Lockett has joined the season 11 cast and One Chicago Center can now confirm Lockett will be playing Chicago firefighter Sam Carver in what has been described as a recurring role.

While details regarding how his character comes to join 51 remain unclear, we’ll get the chance to meet Sam in the first episode of the season hinting that his introduction will quickly be addressed. Judging by the first image of his character released by NBC, it seems Sam will waste no time in jumping into action alongside the 51 family.

Check out the first-look photo of Jake Lockett’s new character in action from the season 11 premiere, “Hold On Tight,” below:

It’s going to be interesting to see how exactly Sam will enter the fold as well as to see how he’ll get along with the men and women of 51.

Given how things went the last time 51 welcomed someone new to the mix (cough-Emma-cough), let’s hope Lockett’s character will prove to be a welcomed addition to 51 and not someone whose arrival will spell trouble for anyone on Truck or Squad.
