Do Violet and Hawkins break up on Chicago Fire?

At the end of Chicago Fire season 10, it looked like Violet would end it with Hawkins. What happened in the season 11 premiere?

Things didn’t look good for Violet and Hawkins in the Chicago Fire season 10 finale. Hawkins had opened up about his relationship and requested that he be the one punished for it. However, Violet didn’t answer his call, and it looked like she was having second thoughts about the relationship.

We needed to see how things would play out in the season 11 premiere. Fortunately, it didn’t take too long to find out the truth. What happened to Hawkimi during the new episode?

Are Violet and Hawkins still together in Chicago Fire?

After getting through the initial opener to find out what would happen to Severide and Kidd, we jumped a few months forward. There, Violet shares that she’s been avoiding Hawkins this who time.

It’s only when Truck 81 is out on a fuel run that Gallo sees Hawkins also filling up. Hawkins is being transferred. He’s told the truth about the relationship and this was his punishment. It would be out of the district, as close to the Indiana state line as possible.

Gallo decides to tell Violet, who calls Hawkins. When he doesn’t answer, she leaves him a voicemail. Then she worries that he is done with her. It’s Mouch who gets it through to her that Hawkins has been in meetings all day and there’s no way he’s finished with her. He’s just giving her the space he thinks she wants.

Well, Hawkins did think that Violet was done with him. When she turns up at his place in the Chicago Fire season 11, he questions why. He didn’t once think that one of the voicemails he has from the day would be from Violet.

After a sweet moment, Violet and Hawkins get back together. However, he’s not going to ask to remain in the district. He’s still going to be transferred, but that’s a good thing for both of them. It means they can be together without having to hide anything. We have some hope for Hawkimi after this.
