Chicago PD: Are Jesse Lee Soffer and Tracy Spiridakos dating?
Halstead and Upton are the “it” couple of Chicago PD. While they’ve had their share of ups and downs (in the last season alone), they always seem to come out on top, and balance each other’s worst tendencies out.
A lot of the Halstead and Upton magic comes down to the actors who play them: Jesse Lee Soffer and Tracy Spiridakos. They have undeniable chemistry, and whenever fans take note of chemistry, there’s invariably questions about the actors’ personal lives, and whether the onscreen romance is spilling over into real life. Are Soffer and Spiridakos dating in real life?
Who is Jesse Lee Soffer dating 2022?
No, they are not. All of the romantic chemistry they display comes down to their talents as actors, rather than a real-life couple. Soffer and Spiridakos are close friends, though, as they often appear on each other’s social media, and the latter posted a heartfelt goodbye to Soffer on IG when it was announced that he would be leaving PD this season.
That said, Soffer is no stranger to workplace romance. The actor has actually dated two other stars within the larger One Chicago universe, including his former PD co-star Sophia Bush. The couple made things official in 2014, and were together until November 2016. This was several months before Bush exited the series.

Soffer then struck up a romance with Chicago Med star Torrey DeVitto, and the pair dated privately for a year before confirming their romance in August 2018. Fans heard little else about Soffer and DeVitto until their official split in May 2019.
Soffer has not commented on his love life since then, and appears to be single as of 2022. Spiridakos has been similarly quiet, as none of her relationships have been made public since joining PD in 2017.
