Like the promo for this week’s episode, the synopsis for this week’s Chicago PD seems to hint Halstead is about to find himself caught between a rock and a hard spot.

Here’s how NBC officially describes season 10 episode 3:

"The team investigates a string of brutal pharmacy robberies and Halsted connects with one of the victims about their Army careers. Upton suspects there is more to the story and confides in Voight."

If you haven’t already watched the promo for Chicago PD season 10 episode 3, you might want to sit down because the promo is likely going to knock the air out of you. We say this because the promo heavily implies that the episode will be Soffer’s last.

In the promo, we see Halstead going to see the new Chief, telling him that he’s come to tell the truth — hinting he’s about to confess to a wrongdoing of some kind. While that alone would be cause for concern, it’s the fact that the promo teases the episode being the end for someone which has many fans wondering if the episode is indeed going to be used to write Soffer off the show.
