This week, Upton will be taking center stage as she and the team work tirelessly to find a missing girl. What the team quickly learn as they work the case is that the disappearances happen to be connected to a human trafficking ring.

What’s interesting is that it’s teased our new Chief will be taking a personal stake in the investigation when he discovers a connection between his son and the missing girl.

Here’s how NBC officially describes season 10 episode 5:

"Upton’s dogged pursuit of a missing teenage girl leads the team into a dark web of human trafficking. Chief O’Neal becomes involved with the unit’s investigation when it becomes evident his son, Sean, has a connection to the missing girl."

In the first teaser for Chicago PD season 10 episode 5, we see that Upton takes lead on the missing girl case and it seems she has succeeded in tracking the girl down. However, it seems that Upton could find herself in a dangerous situation in pursuing the individuals behind the girl’s abduction.

Surprisingly, NBC has opted not to release any images yet for the upcoming episode of Chicago PD so we do not yet have images for the episode which is unusual. Typically, NBC always will release at least a few images before a new episode is released but there have been no promotional images for episode 5 released by the network just yet.
