Who plays Herrmann’s niece Tracy on Chicago Fire?
Herrmann’s niece, Tracy, has become an unexpectedly important player on Chicago Fire. The character has been hooking up with Gallo (Alberto Rosende) behind Herrmann’s back, which has naturally led to some guilt on the part of the younger firefighter.
Things have gotten so intense between Tracy and Gallo that the two even hooked up at Molly’s Pub, despite there being security cameras everywhere! It was a reckless move, but Gallo was able to pull some strings and get the footage erased before Herrmann (David Eigenberg) got a look at it.

Who is Gallo dating on Chicago Fire 2022?
Tracy is played by Heidi Grace Engerman. She is a relative newcomer to the acting world, and only has three credits to her name on IMDb. This may be surprising, given how much natural chemistry she has with Alberto Rosende, but it’s true. Engerman’s previous credits include the horror remake Candyman (2021) and a recent episode of Power Book IV: Force.
Fire producer Andrea Newman previously talked about the transitional period that his character is in, and how hookups have been a way of blocking out the lingering feelings he has towards Violet (Hanako Greensmith). She told TV Line that a lot of “fun” was in store, and we’re already seeing the consequences of said fun.

"“He’s the best guy in the world because he genuinely loves Violet, and so he genuinely wants the best for her and had to do that”, Newman added. “I think once he did that, he blocked it off. No matter his feelings, he locked that part off in his head for Violet, and he’s going to move forward.”"
While Gallo’s relationship with Tracy is merely a fling, it will be interesting to see what happens between them, and how it will inform the former’s approach to future romances.
