When will Chicago Fire season 11 return in 2023?

Chicago Fire season 11 is heading on its winter break very soon. There is just one episode left of 2022. When will the winter premiere air in 2023?

It’s that time of year again. The broadcast TV shows are going off the air for their winter breaks, and it means we’re waiting until the new year for new episodes.

Chicago Fire season 11 will air its fall finale on Wednesday, Dec. 7. We do have a two-week break before that, and then we’re off into another break. It does seem like an odd schedule for one episode, and it is annoying for fans, but there’s nothing we can do about that.

Instead, we’re focused on how long the winter break is going to be. NBC has set its January 2023 schedule, so we now know when to expect the show to return.

When is the Chicago Fire season 11 winter premiere in 2023?

There isn’t too long to wait for the return of the series. Like most years, we’re going to see Firehouse 51 back in action as soon as January rolls around. A new episode will air on Wednesday, Jan. 4.

As usual, episodes will air at 9 p.m. ET/PT. There is talk of NBC getting rid of the 10 p.m. ET/PT time slot and handing it back to local programming. If this happens, it’s going to affect the One Chicago lineup on Wednesdays, but for now, we don’t need to worry about it. We’ll see Med, then Fire, and then PD on Wednesday nights from January.

We don’t know what to expect when the show returns. It’s likely to pick up off the back of the fall finale ending. After all, that is the One Chicago way.
