Although the FBI franchise on CBS is still in its early days, the three series that make up the hit franchise has already undergone so many major casting changes over the years.

Just this season, we saw several casting shakeups as beloved characters departed in often shocking manners as new faces joined the mix in recurring and series regular roles to help fill the voids left by those who left the series.

As we continue to see characters coming and going, we’re breaking down all there is to know about the latest casting shakeups on CBS’s three FBI shows.

Who’s leaving FBI? (2022)

Although the door was left open for a return, Shantel VanSanten seems to have left the series after stepping in to play Special Agent Nina Chase across a multi-episode arc. VanSanten’s character was brought into the mix to help fill the void left by Missy Peregrym’s temporary departure for maternity leave.

Considering that Nina is alive and is still romantically connected to Scola — and how well-received her character was by the fans — we could definitely see the writers bringing her back into the fold. However, at this time, it seems we might have seen the last of Nina.
