One Chicago named one of best fandoms of 2022

We’ve always known the Chicago Fire, Chicago Med, and Chicago PD fans were among the best around, but this year the One Chicago franchise is once again getting some well-deserved recognition!
For the last six years, FanSided has curated an annual list of the greatest fandoms in sports and entertainment as a celebration of fan culture and the year’s most passionate and dedicated fandoms via its Fandoms of the Year. The list is an authentic celebration of fan culture, bringing together the FanSided community of readers and writers to celebrate the shows, movies, and more that made us want to stand up and cheer.
This year’s list includes some truly amazing fandoms including some of the biggest fandoms in both sports and entertainment. Among the fandoms celebrated as one of 2022’s best is NBC’s One Chicago franchise, which we couldn’t be more excited about!
One Chicago fans celebrated as best of 2022
On Dec. 8, FanSided rolled out its annual Fandoms of the Year list designed to celebrate the best fandoms of 2022. This year, 39 television fandoms made the list, and, for the second consecutive year, One Chicago managed to secure a place on the list!
While 2022 has been a rough year for Chicago Fire, Chicago Med, and Chicago PD with many actors leaving the franchise, it’s shown how adaptable and loyal the fans are. Sure there have been some moments that tested fans, but there is no denying the One Chicago fans are some of the most passionate and loyal fans around!

To have one successful series in today’s broadcast landscape is impressive, but to have a trilogy of shows which continue to rank as the most-watched programs of their night and on their network is an incredible feat that is only made possible because of the loyal fans who tune in week after week.
