Chicago Fire: Taylor Kinney’s last IG post has fans confused
What is going on with Taylor Kinney? That’s what fans want to know the countdown to his leaving Chicago Fire marches on. All that’s been confirmed is that the actor is going to be missing a chunk of season 11 due to a personal matter, and will be back… presumably.
Representatives for both Kinney and the show have been quiet, meaning that the personal matter is all we really have to go on. Needless to say, fans scoured the internet for additional clues as to what’s happening with the actor, and that includes coming through his social media accounts.
What is Taylor Kinney’s Instagram?
Kinney’s last Instagram post was on December 9, which was almost a month before news of his exit was announced. Still, fans have revisited this post with the context we now have, and wonder whether it provides any clues as to why the actor will be busy.
The post in question is odd in comparison to Kinney’s other posts, which consist of the usual pics from the set mixed in with pics from his personal life. This December 9 post is a pic of an Old Spice body wash container, a Dove container, a shaving razor, and a necklace. There’s also a pink sharpie, which is perhaps the most random object seen.

The caption reads: “No #Butyess11” without any additional text or context as to what this could mean. It’s pretty cryptic, and fans have tried to piece together the various items in the pic to figure out whether Kinney is hinting at something.
One fan landed on the theory that the actor is getting married to his girlfriend (and, as of season 11, Chicago Fire extra) Ashley Cruger. Others got hung up on the sharpie, and wondered what the actor could need with a sharpie while showering (a valid curiosity).
Mostly, though, fans took the comment section to send their prayers and positive thoughts to Kinney, as the exact nature of his aforementioned personal matter remains unclear. If it’s bad or emotionally-taxing, it’s nice to know the actor has the support of the entire Chicago Fire fanbase.
