Is Vanessa Rojas in Chicago PD season 10?

Vanessa Rojas (Lisseth Chavez) is one of the more strange cases in Chicago PD history. She was primed to become part of the IU, and most of season 7 was spent establishing dynamics between her and the rest of the team.

Then, without much warning, she was written off and never talked about again. There was no big exit storyline featured and no final appearance to help explain her exit. Rojas just left town with only a one-off update to help fill audiences in as to what happened to the character.

It’s honestly a shame we didn’t get to see more of Rojas on the show before her unexpected departure. The good news is that Rojas is still alive and well in the world of One Chicago, so a return is possible, but given the time that’s passed since her exit, and the fact that Chavez is currently playing a cop on the procedural hit The Rookie, it doesn’t look like it’s going to happen anytime soon.

Still, we can always hold out hope for a surprise appearance or even just a nod to the character to help update us on what she’s been up to.
