Kidd, Gallo, and Carver end up in the middle of a gang war while on a call in Chicago Fire season 11, episode 16. Here are the Chicago Fire spoilers for the new episode.

After taking a couple of weeks off, Chicago Fire is back with a new episode. It’s time to see what happens to Kidd (Miranda Rae Mayo), Gallo (Alberto Rosende), and Carver (Jake Lockett) while they’re on the call. Kidd is going to end up facing the barrel of a gun.

Meanwhile, Cruz (Joe Minoso) will feel the pressure of all his responsibilities. With Severide (Taylor Kinney) gone for a while, he’s stepped up to help run Squad 3. We know that he’s good for it, but of course, the pressure was going to get to him. He has been thrown in at the deep end.

It’s time to look at what we can expect in the new episode when it airs this week.

Chicago Fire spoilers: 11×16 promo

The promo has been out since the previous episode. All it showed us was Kidd, Carver, and Gallo heading out to a dangerous call. There are no signs that any of them are leaving the series, but we will get to see their lives on the line once again. Considering Carver holds guilt for Kidd being injured the last time they went into a dangerous situation, how will he react during this one?

Chicago Fire spoilers: 11×16 synopsis

The synopsis tells us about a couple of other storylines going on. One of those is about Cruz. He is struggling under the pressure of all his extra responsibilities, but at what point is he going to snap? We know Casey (Jesse Spencer) is coming back, and could this be why it happens?

Then there’s a bit about Herrmann (David Eigenberg). Cindy (Robyn Coffin) is struggling in her mental health with everything that is going on. That’s not surprising, but there’s only so much Herrmann can do. He turns to someone who may be able to help: Trudy (Amy Morton).

"Cruz feels the burden of his increased responsibilities; Kidd, Gallo and Carver get caught in the middle of a gang war on a call; Herrmann wrangles Trudy for help lifting Cindy’s mood."
