Chicago Med star welcomes daughter: ‘I’ve got a very full heart’

It seems congratulations are in order for former Chicago Med stars Patti Murin and Colin Donnell! The happy couple and former Med co-stars have welcomed a new addition to their family with the birth of their second daughter!

“We welcomed Cecily’s (and Petey & Milo’s) younger sister Lorelai Grace into our lives this past week.” Donnell shared in a sweet Instagram post. “I’ve got a very full heart and there’ve been a lot of happy tears. The biggest thank you to [Patti Murin] for these beautiful gifts.”

Donnell’s post was accompanied by a pair of sweet photos. In the first photo, Donnell and Murin are all smiles as they embrace their family’s newest addition in a sweet photo that appears to have been snapped in the hospital room. In the second photo, Donnell shares an absolutely adorable shot of little Lorelai that is honestly too cute!

How many kids does Colin Donnell have?

As of 2023, Colin Donnell and his wife, Patti Murin, have two daughters. The couple’s first daughter, named Cecily, was born in 2020, while their second daughter, Lorelai was born in April 2023.

Donnell and Murin met while working on the Broadway production of Love’s Labour’s Lost in 2013. They both starred in the musical and their characters had a romantic storyline, which eventually led to a real-life romance between the two actors. They got engaged in December 2014 and married on June 19, 2015.
