Is FBI new tonight on CBS? (May 2, 2023)
FBI is going strong as ever. All three titles in the procedural franchise: FBI, FBI: Most Wanted and FBI: International, were recently renewed by CBS, alongside other Dick Wolf-produced brands like Law and Order and One Chicago.
There are a still a few episodes left in each show’s current season, and some riveting storylines that need to be resolved before we jump into what’s next. Unfortunately, fans will have to wait a bit longer than they initially expected. There will be no new episodes of FBI on Tuesday, May 2. Instead, CBS will be airing reruns of earlier episodes in each respective season.

While it’s always disappointing to miss out on new episodes, the good news is that FBI will be back next week. FBI will resume its usual 8/7c time slot on Tuesday, May 9, at 8/7c. The episode will be titled “Privilege” and the synopsis reads:
"All eyes are on the team when they try to find out who kidnapped the only child of a prominent U.S senator. The abduction also uncovers a potential link to a similar case that was pushed to the side by local authorities."
Is FBI: International new tonight? (May 2, 2023)
This is fairly standard for Dick Wolf-produced shows. One Chicago recently took a month long break to wrap up production on their various finales, so it’s safe to assume the FBI shows are operating on a similar schedule. Once the FBI shows return on May 9, they will air uninterrupted for the rest of the season.

Kelly Kahl, the president of CBS Entertainment, issued a statement to Variety after the shows were renewed. Unlike the One Chicago shows, which was renewed for one season a piece, The FBI shows were renewed for two seasons a piece. Here’s what Kahl had to say about the decision:
"“The ‘FBIs’ are one of the most successful brands in the entire TV landscape and a powerful cornerstone of our No. 1 lineup,” she noted. “They’ve attracted a dedicated, loyal fan base, thanks to the extraordinary vision of executive producer Dick Wolf and the talents of all three outstanding casts and creative teams. I know we and our viewers look forward to two additional seasons of engaging, heroic stories.”"
