One Chicago stars share vacation photos on Instagram

One Chicago has always sold itself as a family, and the close friendships that develop between the cast members help to further this idea. Several of the actors who meet during the production of the show stay close, even after they leave. This is the case for Chicago Med‘s Torrey DeVitto.

While she appeared in the season 8 finale, DeVitto officially left Med at the start of season 7. That hasn’t stopped from hanging out with Chicago PD‘s Marina Squerciati, however. The close friends went on a trip recently, and posted a string of photos chronicling their experiences!


The photos were posted on DeVitto’s Instagram, and are accompanied by the caption: “Touring around Israel. A trip of a lifetime.” The photos see DeVitto and Squerciati traveling around the country, eating at different restaurants and going out for drinks with locals.

Squerciati posted a few photos of her own on Instagram, confirming that both her and DeVitto were vacationing the night that both Chicago Med and PD had their season finales. It’s fitting, given the crucial roles that both actresses played in their respective shows.

DeVitto, who plays Natalie Manning, wound up returning to Gaffney Medical Center so that she could help Will Halstead (Nick Gehlfuss) make the decision to leave Chicago and move with her to Seattle. Squerciati, as Kim Burgess, was forced to stand by as Ruzek (Patrick John Flueger) was critically wounded and hospitalized.

This isn’t the first time that DeVitto and Squerciati have taken a trip together. In February 2020 the duo posted a photo on Instagram with the caption “The best vacation ever…in Texas.” We can’t wait to see what they get up to in the future!
