Fire Country: Which episode features singer Kane Brown?

Fire Country has become a TV sensation, despite only being around for one season. Part of this success has to do with the ensemble cast and exciting direction, and part of it has to do with the fact that the show is able to snag impressive guest stars like Kane Brown.

Kane Brown, the country superstar who became the first artist to have simultaneous number ones on all five main Billboard country charts, appeared in a crucial Fire Country role during the show’s debut season, and all signs point to him being a natural in front of the camera.

When was Kane Brown on Fire Country?

Brown appeared in the episode “Off the Rails.” He played a freight-hopping drifter named Robin, who springs into action and decides to help when a train he’s riding accidentally crashes into a party bus. It’s a tense episode, and despite never formally acting, Brown rises to the occasion.

The singer considered the part of Robin to be a “perfect” entry point for him, as it allowed him to be heroic and display lots of emotions while still working within the framework of a larger story. The appearance went over well with audiences, and Fire Country star Max Theriot was highly complementive of Brown after the episode aired.

"“He just has a lot of raw, natural ability to be present and to listen, and really be in the moment,” the actor told Entertainment Tonight. “I think if you can start there and do that, you can build off of it. Some people cannot start there, they just don’t have that thing. And I think he has that thing. He was really, really passionate about putting in the work and being really focused on doing this.”"

While Brown doesn’t have any future acting roles lined up, it’s safe to say his first venture into Hollywood went well. His character makes it through “Off the Rails” unscathed, and he clearly got along with Theriot and the rest of the cast, so we wouldn’t be surprised to see him return as Robin in season 2. Fingers crossed!
