Chicago Fire and the best Taylor Kinney shows

When one thinks of Taylor Kinney, it’s likely that the first thing that comes to mind is his portrayal of Kelly Severide in the hit NBC drama Chicago Fire. Kinney’s portrayal of 51’s fearless lieutenant has won the hearts of fans around the world since the series premiere, and it’s understandable that this role has become the role most think of when they hear his name.

However, before he suited up as 51’s Lieutenant, Kinney appeared in a number of shows delivering some amazing performances along the way. He first caught the attention of audiences in the 2006 series Fashion House, where he played the role of Luke Gianni. Kinney also appeared in the short-lived medical drama Trauma, where he played the character of Glenn Morrison who also happened to be a first responder.

Whether he’s playing a firefighter or a werewolf (yes, we said werewolf), Kinney’s performances are always memorable and engaging, and it’s clear that he has a long and successful career ahead of him. While there’s no telling what might be next for the actor as his future on Chicago Fire remains up in the air, we’re taking some time to look back on his career so far and break down Kinney’s best roles yet!

Note: While Taylor Kinney has appeared in a number of shows across his career, for the purpose of this piece we’re only ranking the shows he appeared in more than a one-off guest capacity. We also have not included Chicago Med or PD on this list, given that Kinney’s appearances on those shows have been in guess capacities connected to the interconnected nature of the One Chicago franchise.
