Monica Raymund as Gabby Dawson

Come on now, did you really think we wouldn’t include Gabby on this list?! Regardless of your thoughts on the character, there is absolutely no denying the impact she had on the series or that she’ll always remain one of the most iconic characters to have passed through the doors of 51.

Sure we’ve had the chance to catch up with Gabby on a few occasions since her departure and she’s been kept alive in the show via off-camera conversations and subtle name-drops, but we welcome any excuse for more of the character!

Monica Raymund has mentioned an openness to return again in the future and we definitely wouldn’t mind seeing her drop back in to shake things up a bit at 51 or even just to pass through town and catch up with her 51 family.

Brett Dalton as Jason Pelham

Although we weren’t exactly fans of how Pelham came to join the 51 family — after all, he was brought in to replace Casey — but once we got to know him it didn’t take long for him to grow on us.

By the time his storyline came to a close in season 10, we had come to really love Pelham and were left wanting more from the character. So there is nothing we’d love more than to see him return to 51 in some capacity.

Sure, we know this could be difficult given he’s a lieutenant and there aren’t exactly any current openings for lieutenant at 51, but we can’t help but feel there was so much more to Pelham as a character. So if there was ever the chance for him to return, we’d absolutely welcome it!
