3 & 4. Cote de Pablo as Ziva David and Michael Weatherly as Anthony DiNozzo

We first met Ziva David in season 2 when she joined the NCIS team following the death of Agent Caitlin “Kate” Todd. It didn’t take long for fans to fall in love with the character, due in large part to actress Cote de Pablo’s incredible performance in the role. It also didn’t take long for one of Ziva’s fellow agents to also fall in love with her.

We’re, of course, referring to Very Special Anthony DiNozzo, who was the second half of the show’s greatest will-they-won’t-they relationship in the show’s history, better known as Tiva.

Across their time together on the show, Tiva gave fans some incredible moments but their happy ending almost didn’t happen when Ziva was presumed dead following an explosion in the season 13 finale leading to de Pablo’s exit. Shortly after, we discovered that Ziva and Tony had a daughter together and this storyline was used to pave the way for Michael Weatherly’s exit from the show two seasons later, with Tony leaving to take care of their daughter.

Fast forward a few seasons and we discovered that Ziva had faked her death when she resurfaced in the season 16 finale seeking Gibbs’ help. Following an all-too-brief four-episode guest arc in season 17, Ziva left once again, this time to reunite with Tony and their daughter. Unfortunately for fans, this reunion happened off-screen, robbing fans of the chance to see Tony and Ziva back together on-screen again. Well, it’s time this finally changes.

We know Weatherly has hinted at a possible return and that he hopes to see a Tiva reunion, so it’s time that CBS finds a way to make it happen.

It doesn’t have to be a big guest arc, though we wouldn’t be opposed to that, as even just a one-episode return allowing us to see them back in action together, this time as an official couple would be everything. Tiva was such a core part of the show and there is truly nothing we want more than to see the pair reunited on screen again.
