Does FBI: International season 3 have a release date?

FBI: International season 3 was officially renewed for its third season by CBS, as part of a two-season renewal back in early 2022. Originally, fans could have expected the season to premiere in September 2023, as part of the CBS fall 2023-2024 TV season.

However, the strikes affecting scripted television production threw a wrench into the schedule. Fortunately, FBI: International and the rest of the FBI shows have been given an official release date of February 13.

FBI: International season 3 plot and other details

Details surrounding the plot of season 3 remain under wraps for now, however, after a nail-biting cliffhanger in the season 2 finale, “Fencing the Mona Lisa,” where a bomb threatened their headquarters, viewers can likely expect a resolution to this crisis in the first few episodes of the next season.

FBI: International will maintain its home on CBS, with episodes available for streaming on Paramount+ too.

Latest strike news

The actors’ strike led to a suspension of production on numerous TV shows across the United States, including FBI: International. The strike’s impact on the show’s schedule and the challenges faced by the cast and crew remained a key factor in the evolving landscape of the entertainment industry.

According to a recent report by Deadline, negotiations have commenced in an effort to resolve the actors’ strike, and there have been indications of “some progress” in talks between SAG-AFTRA and the studios regarding a potential new three-year contract.
