Wolf and Nichols struggling professionally in Brilliant Minds season 1, episode 11 (Preview)

During the previous episode, Pierce warned Wolf about dating someone he worked with. It looks like that will come up in Brilliant Minds season 1, episode 11, as Wolf and Nichols disagree with how to deal with a patient.

While the episode is titled “The Other Woman,” much of the promotional material focuses on Wolf and Nichols. They work with a patient who wants to go a specific route, but the two disagree on the right method of treatment. Could this have a knock-on effect on their relationship? Things are still early days for the two of them.

Who is the patient in Brilliant Minds season 1, episode 11?

It looks like Wolf has a patient with Tourette’s. This is a disorder that causes ticks, which can be physical or verbal. The condition is often used in a comedic way on TV, which I’ve always found distasteful. Brilliant Minds is about to do things differently.

There’s a potential surgery that could help Ezra with his ticks. He wants to try it. He’s lived with his ticks all his life, and he’s done being the laughing stock of people outside. Nichols is willing to do the surgery, but Wolf doesn’t want his patient to go through with it.

We have seen Wolf and Nichols disagree before. However, they have both found a common ground, or they’ve been able to listen to each other and figure out that they both do have their own way of doing things. This storyline could be different, though, as it looks like Wolf is too concerned that something will go wrong with the surgery. He doesn’t trust Nichols’ skills, and that could be a concern for Nichols the further they go into this relationship.

Meanwhile, we will need to spend some time with Pierce and Morris. The end of the previous episode saw Alison attempt to take her own life. Pierce now needs more answers than ever before because she sees a woman who needs help despite it being a huge ethical dilemma. Can Morris stop gaslighting and finally be open and honest?

The images for the episode give us a look at a few storylines happening. Of course, there are those that are centered around Wolf’s patient and Pierce’s truth.

Other images are focused on the interns. It looks like Jacob may speak to Van about what he saw at the end of the previous episode. He knows that Van and Ericka are together. Will he attempt to win Ericka over, or will he accept that he has lost out? Jacob does have the Ace up his sleeve by knowing Van’s secret. How will Ericka react when she finds out?
