NCIS has not had a new episode for a few weeks, but luckily that is almost over. New episodes are set to begin again on March 24. Plus, we now know what we can look forward to for the show’s season finale in several weeks.

The last time we saw a new episode of the CBS series, it focused on Jimmy’s daughter, Victoria, and some cash she had discovered that led Jimmy and the team into an undercover operation. It was so fun to see the dynamic between father and daughter, in addition to seeing a fake wedding from Agents Nick Torres (Wilmer Valderrama) and Jessica Knight (Katrina Law).

Lily and Parker's dynamic will be explored

Lifeline
“Lifeline” – When the NCIS team engages in Walk-A-Mile Day to gain a new perspectives on different departments, things take a turn when Kasie receives a distress call from a mysterious man, on the CBS Original series NCIS, Thursday, Feb. 26 (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network, and streaming on Paramount+ (live and on demand for Paramount+ with SHOWTIME subscribers, or on demand for Paramount+ Essential subscribers the day after the episode airs)*. Since then, the show has been on a break and fans have been anticipating a new episode airing. The new episode, airing March 24, will reintroduce Agent Sawyer (Zane Holtz), as he is connected to the death of a Navy lieutenant. Plus, the episode will give us some more information on the mysterious Lily (Sunnie Pelant) and her connection to Parker (Gary Cole).

The episode was teased in the synopsis of seeing Parker find a connection to the girl he seemingly once knew and the death of his mother. This has been one of the many questions fans have had about Parker and his past, so we cannot wait to find out more!

Luckily, that’s not all we know about upcoming episodes of NCIS. The season finale synopsis was released as well, hinting at more Parker arcs to lead us into the summer break. It made mention of mob boss Carla Marino, who we met when Parker and the team were on the case to prevent her from discovering the whereabouts of her long-lost granddaughter.

NCIS' season 22 finale airs May 5

Baker's Man
“Baker’s Man” – After NCIS learns that the owner of Parker’s favorite bakery (guest star Melina Kanakaredes) is being blackmailed, they hatch a plan to save her from the perpetrators. Also, tensions heighten when Torres’ secret romance is discovered, on the CBS Original series NCIS, Monday, Jan. 27 (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network, and streaming on Paramount+ (live and on-demand for Paramount+ with SHOWTIME subscribers, or on-demand for Paramount+ Essential subscribers the

The season finale, which is scheduled to air on Monday, May 5 is titled “Nexus” and it will follow the team investigating a connection between Marino and the Nexus cartel. During the course of the case, they will discover a plot involving theft of nuclear material, leading Parker to form an alliance that is far from easy to navigate. Does this mean he will have to work with Marino to avoid catastrophe?

Even though it’s hard to imagine we’re in the final stretch of the season, we’re looking forward to how they resolve the other storylines this season, including Agent Tim McGee’s investigation into Deputy Director Gabriel LaRoche.
