Chicago Fire spoilers: What to expect in Chicago Fire season 10, episode 12 (Preview)
Pelham is out for now, but Boden isn’t going to let that happen on his watch. Here’s what to expect on Chicago Fire season 10, episode 12.
Every season, we see Firehouse 51 in some sort of trouble. There is always someone after Boden’s (Eamonn Walker) job or just looking to break the firehouse up. It looks like this is a storyline coming up.
Jason Pelham (Brett Dalton) faced an ousting during the previous episode. Due to Pelham’s history, there are a lot of people higher up who want to force him to be a floater in the CFD for good. They want to force him out, but he’s a great lieutenant, and Boden recognizes that.
Boden isn’t happy with the attack against Pelham, and he’s not the only one at Firehouse 51. This is the last episode before we head into another hiatus due to the pandemic and the Winter Olympics, so let’s take a look at what to expect.

We start with a look at the promo for the new episode. It makes it clear that Boden is going up against other chiefs in the CFD. Boden wants to protect Pelham, knowing that Pelham has been unfairly targeted.
Boden is about to go up against some powerful people. They will likely try to attack him for his willingness to stand up for Pelham.

A lot of the focus is going to be on protecting Pelham. Boden isn’t the only one at Firehouse 51 fighting for him. Severide (Taylor Kinney) and Kidd (Miranda Rae Mayo) will also stand by Pelham to get his name cleared.
Meanwhile, we’ll get to see Herrmann (David Eigenberg) at the Academy. He’ll meet an inspiring young man. We’ve seen Herrmann take young recruits under his wing before if he sees something promising. Look at how he took Ritter (Daniel Kyri) under his wing. This could be a fun element to the story.

The comic relief is likely to come in the form of the discussion about the annual CFD Gala. It’s going to be the big talk around the firehouse, but is that about dresses to wear or dates for the gala? Judging by the images below, we’ll even see them at the gala.
