Chicago Fire might not be coming back with new episodes until this fall, but Netflix is about to serve up the perfect show to help pass the time as we wait for season 14!

In announcing its July slate, Netflix has confirmed it will soon be adding all three seasons of Hightown. The complete series will be coming to Netflix on July 23, giving fans the chance to enjoy all 25 episodes of the Starz original series starring former Chicago Fire star Monica Raymund

The dark crime drama followed Jackie Quiñones (Raymund) on her journey to sobriety as she becomes entangled in a murder investigation set against the backdrop of Cape Cod. The series debuted on Starz in May 2020, and wrapped with its third season in March 2024 amid a wave of cancellations at Starz.

Adding insult to injury, shortly after the show’s series finale, Starz pulled the show from its streaming platform. Following the move, Hightown had been unavailable to stream online, but that will change this July when Netflix becomes home to every season of the series.

While Hightown might not have gotten a planned series finale, don’t let that deter you from checking out the series. Raymund is absolutely phenomenal in the leading role, and it’s a great series to binge-watch while waiting for the new season of Chicago Fire to premiere this fall. I must warn you, watching the show will definitely make you miss Raymund’s presence on Chicago Fire.

If Hightown to your taste, there are several other titles on Netflix that are perfect to stream this summer starring some of your favorite Chicago Fire actors!

There’s the supernatural crime drama Lucifer starring Lauren German. Charlie Barnett is featured in the second season of Netflix’s thriller You, as well as in the Netflix original drama Russian Doll. Eamonn Walker’s 2009 film Blood and Bone is streaming on the platform, as are six seasons of Sex and the City starring David Eigenberg. These are just a few of the offerings on Netflix featuring actors from Chicago Fire, giving fans plenty to choose from as they await the arrival of new episodes in the fall.

Of course, you can also always enjoy a Chicago Fire rewatch on Peacock as well with all 13 seasons available to stream. There’s nothing like rewatching the previous season or enjoying the show from the start again during the hiatus. With season 14 not expected to arrive until late September, there is plenty of time to enjoy a Chicago Fire re-watch while waiting for NBC’s hit drama to finally return.
