Chicago Med season 7 episode 4 promo, synopsis and photos

Last Wednesday on Chicago Med, Med’s newest doctors each found themselves navigating murky waters with a pair of unique cases.
When a hospital VIP was brought in for treatment, Stevie (Kristin Hager) found herself on the end of unwelcome and inappropriate advances from the hospital’s longtime donor. Despite what he put Stevie through while she attempted to treat his injured wife, she managed to identify the root of his recent change in behavior in time to save his life.
Meanwhile, Dylan (Guy Lockard) and Will (Nick Gehlfuss) treated a dishonest lupus patient, who had been deceiving her loyal followers — leading to some slight tensions between the two doctors over their patient’s actions.
Elsewhere, Crockett (Dominic Rains), Vanessa (Asjha Cooper) and Charles (Oliver Platt) worked to help convince a young patient to have life-saving surgery… which seemed to lead to Vanessa starting to develop unexpected feelings for her new mentor.

If you noticed something brewing between Crockett and Vanessa last week get ready for that pot to be stirred even more in episode 4.
In the first promo for the upcoming fourth episode of season 7, it seems Vanessa is beginning to fall for her new mentor which has Maggie (Marlyne Barrett) more than a little concerned. While it seems Vanessa might keep things subtle to begin with such as by showing up early for her shift, by the end of the trailer she seems to take a more direct approach.

In addition to the latest development in Crockett and Vanessa’s dynamic, episode 4 promises to be another eventful episode for all of our favorite doctors.
It seems Charles and Dylan will once again be teaming up, this time when Charles is called upon to help Dylan treat one of his longtime patients who has recently been diagnosed with schizophrenia. The pair have thus far proved to have a really great dynamic, so it should be exciting to see them once again tag-teaming on a case this week.

Elsewhere in the episode, it seems Will is going to be making strides forward in his investigation for Goodwin (S. Epatha Merkerson), while Stevie, Maggie and Vanessa must come together to get to the bottom of their patient’s recent diagnosis.
Here’s how NBC officially describes Chicago Med season 7, episode 4:
"Charles helps Dylan with a longtime patient who was recently diagnosed with schizophrenia. Stevie, Maggie and Vanessa investigate the legitimacy of a patient’s cancer diagnosis. Crockett is caught off-guard. Will pitches a new medical technology."

In the first images for “Status Quo, aka The Mess We’re In,” we get our first look at Will and Goodwin meeting, presumably, to discuss the process of his investigation into Dr. Matt Cooper (Michael Rady). It also seems like Will’s latest venture might cause some tension between Will and Dean (Steven Weber), as evident by the first photos from the episode.
