During the first several seasons of Chicago Med, Torrey DeVitto was one of the show's biggest stars as many of its storylines focused on her character, Dr. Natalie Manning. As a result, it was a huge deal when DeVitto left the show after several years and then recently returned to the medical drama during season 11. Sadly for fans who like her character and the actor, her return didn't last long as she departed the series again soon thereafter.
Fortunately for Chicago Med fans, however, DeVitto would quickly make another return to network TV, but in an unexpected way. Instead of giving an acting performance in a different show, the former Chicago Med star opted to compete for charity on a game show. During her episode of Celebrity Weakest Link, DeVitto proved to be very compelling and likable.

On Monday, December 8, 2025, an episode of Celebrity Weakest Link dedicated to TV doctors competing against each other aired on Fox. During that episode, the show featured three real doctors who make TV appearances, Dr. Will Kirby, Dr. Terry Dubrow, and Dr. Sandra Lee. The episode also featured the following actors who have pretended to be doctors on TV, Torey DeVitto, Kal Penn, Hill Harper, Jason George, and Ryan Eggold
While each of those people were great in their own right, DeVitto stood out during the episode as being especially likable as she played the game. For example, a YouTube clip from the show depicted DeVitto having fun with a moment from the episode when she clearly had no idea what the answer to a question was. Just as importantly, DeVitto seemed perfectly willing to stick up for herself when she was being targeted by other competitors.
Ultimately, DeVitto was able to outlast Harper Hill, Jason George, Kal Penn, and Ryan Eggold, becoming the last actor standing. While it was revealed that her longevity was related to a devious scheme from the real doctors who were competing, the effect was the same. Viewers got to see DeVitto throughout the majority of the episode which gave her lots of time to show how compelling and likable she was on the game show.
It would be great to see DeVitto return to the game show and compete with Dr. Will Kirby again, since they both were among the best parts of their episode.
